We are loving it

Our new home is fabulous - we are sort of camping at the moment and the last of the big items will be moved by a removal company tomorrow. We have moved all the smaller pieces ourselves - with big help from a friend (thanks!!!). We already have our desks and PC's set up. What a difference moving 5 minutes away is compared to half way around the world!
I have sent our new address to everyone - let me know if you didn't get it.

New Home

Well, just as we are becoming settled in our rental – its time to move! We have a new home and we are moving in this weekend. We are very excited about having our own home and the plan is not to move again for a long while. This means that I am probably going to be a bit quiet on the blog and email for a while until I get set up the other side. This house is about 5 minutes from where we are now in an area called Kenmore Hills. Here are some pictures.

Work Update

Work is getting a little busier - Guy and I both got very sick over the Easter weekend - a bad bout of flu. Abi was as energetic as ever - what do you do with a 3 year old when you both don't have the energy to get out of bed!! Anyway, I digress - because I had 3 days off work last week and even so - when I got in on the Friday I had 16 emails to read, most of which weren't specifically for me - so now you know how busy I am. I am sure it will pick up over time...

Good Friday - Alma Park Zoo

On Easter Friday we took Abi to Alma Park Zoo - we were on our way to Australia Zoo - which is a bit further north, but the traffic was soooo bad, that we did option 'b'. It really is more like a park than a zoo. You can take a picnic and even take meat for a braai as they have picnic spots and bbqs to use. Abi had a great time!!!
