On New Year's day we went to a park and met a whole bunch of other families for a BBQ and to celebrate one of our friend's 5th birthday. The facilities at the parks are really good. There are electric BBQs to use, shaded seating areas, taps to wash, toilets and play areas for the kids. This one had quite a nice play area and the children were entertained all day. It was very hot today over 35 - so a bit uncomfortable - needless to say, we enjoyed our day and met lots of nice people.
